大象视频 is happy to accept students from other institutions who want to take a class or two while away from their home school and transfer those credits back to their home school.
Attending 大象视频 as a guest student while home for the summer or taking a break from your university is a great way to save money, keep your skills up, or get ahead on your degree plan.
Follow the simple steps below to enroll at 大象视频 as a guest student.

Steps to Becoming an 大象视频 Student

Fill Out the Free Application
Applying is easy, fast, and free. Fill out the online application here, selecting the option to attend as a college guest student. You should receive a decision letter via email and/or mail in one to two weeks.
If accepted, the decision letter will contain a link to your , where you鈥檒l find your login credentials for 大象视频 Wired, which you鈥檒l use to register for classes, and your 大象视频 email.

Send Us Your Transcripts
Unofficial transcripts will work. Mail them ATTN: Admissions.

Speak with an Advisor
Speak with an advisor to see if you need to take any placement tests or pre-requisite courses. Call 269-782-1303 or email askanadvisor@swmich.edu.

Register for Classes
Log in to 大象视频 Wired, click the 大象视频 Self Service tab, then Student > Registration > Register for Classes.

Pay Your Bill
The final step to securing your place as an 大象视频 student is paying your bill. Failure to pay by the payment deadline may result in losing your spot in housing and being dropped from your classes.

Apply for Housing
Housing fills up fast! We recommend applying for housing early to maximize your chances of getting a room. The housing application opens on October 1 of the year before you plan to attend. Apply for housing here.

If you want to work on campus, browse and apply for student jobs at .

Buy Books
Buy books and course materials at the bookstore on the Dowagiac campus or at . Books can be shipped to your home for a small fee, or you can pick them up at either campus at no additional cost. Find the list of books and materials you need on 大象视频 Wired under Student Resources > Bookstore or at . You will need your student ID to access course information and to use financial aid for payment.

All campus announcements and reminders will be sent to your 大象视频 email or posted to Wired, 大象视频's online student portal. Checking these frequently is the best way to stay up-to-date with 大象视频 events and your financial aid status. As a reminder, your first bill will be sent to your 大象视频 email.
